after dark Celebrate life with residents of The Claremont!
Ever wondered what your parents do at night after you’ve visited them at their retirement residence?

You’ll get a good idea from the cheeky new 2011 calendar that The Claremont retirement community has produced.

Each month features different ‘super model’ residents and a different and unexpected activity from their night lives (skinny dipping, pole dancing, necking in the back of a car…)

Toronto residents enjoyed posing for photographer Hugh Wesley and poking fun at the idea that older adults don’t have any fun after the sun goes down.

The calendar costs $12 to order and makes a great stocking stuffer but it also brings in lots of money for charity. Residents have modeled for other Claremont calendars over the years and have helped raise over $85,000 to date. This is the third straight year that proceeds have been donated to Free the Children.

So far, residents’ fundraising has helped build two schools in Africa and they hope they’ll be able to build another one this year.
