Bradford, Ontario: a growing area
Nancy speaks for many when she says, “We’ve lost many people because of a lack of seniors housing here. People who have lived here their entire lives, people who have made Bradford what it is.” But that all changed in 2018, with the addition of two new high quality developments. According to Statistics Canada, Simcoe County is experiencing an aging rate higher than national and provincial averages. The proportion of adults aged 65 and over is 18 per cent of the population, compared to 16.7 per cent across Ontario and 16.9 per cent nationally.
