How we see Wedgwood House
Wedgwood House is ideal for Duncan seniors who want to leave behind housework and lawn maintenance for retirement, but prefer to keep some familiarity and intimacy in their lives. It’s a close-knit community where people look out for each other, in a location that combines privacy with convenience.
Wedgwood House is another comfortable, cozy community by Nova Pacific. Being that it’s well-established, many community members have been here for some time and obviously enjoy each others’ company. Walk through on a typical day and you’ll see seniors joining together in Zumba classes or playing board games. When local seniors move here, they find many others with things in common.
This community also has a very pleasant location. On one side, it backs onto private property and greenspace just off the Cowichan River Valley. On the other, there’s proximity to downtown Duncan and the convenience of local shopping. The outdoor patio, backing onto the treed lot, is a fine way to take in one of the delicious chef-prepared meals served here. Many suites also look over that greenspace.

Who are you as a community?
Wedgwood House is a friendly and welcoming Boutique Independent Living with Supportive Services community for seniors. Enjoy your nightly 3 course chef prepared dinner in our dining room. We offer an on-site hair salon. There is also a wide array of interesting activities daily, including: Online Elder college courses, Zumba, Yoga, movies and weekly entertainment. Wedgwood House is located right next to the Seniors Center and close to beautiful downtown Duncan with it’s year round farmers market and wonderful shops. Our waiting list is long because people love living at Wedgwood House, be sure to get in line for carefree living!

e. Infection control practice education for both residents and staff is ongoing
