VRS is driven by a mission to make excellent senior living affordable. That’s manifested in Sunnyside Manor, an intimate, comfortable community with very reasonable fees. It’s a bright, cheerful place to settle into and enjoy life with people your own age, attended to by staff and management with a reputation for responsiveness and considerate care.

Unique features here include the walking track in the inner courtyard and fireplaces in many of the suites. Extra touches like that make your daily life richer. In addition, there’s a library, social lounges, private family dining, and a games room.

Staff are a big part of creating a great environment here. The programming schedule they’ve implemented includes internal activities as varied as tai chi and art classes as well as shopping trips and outings to other interests. Chef-prepared meals here are praised by family and residents for being both healthy and delicious. In the pandemic, staff was credited with keeping residents safe and happy.

You can’t totally appreciate the change you’ll undergo until you move in, but a trial stay here will certainly give you a taste of that. It’s comfortable and just vibrant enough. Perhaps the best recommendation for this place comes from the many family members who will tell you that their parents and loved ones are happy here.

Centrally located on a quiet street in the beautiful South Surrey/ White Rock area, you'll find everything you need just minutes away. With the Semiahmoo Shopping Center down the road, you won't have to go far to get your necessities or meet a friend for coffee. Banks, medical clinics and the hospital are within blocks as well. If you're up for going a little further you have your choice of beaches & parks with fully accessible walking paths. Both White Rock and Crescent Beaches are easily accessible, and have plenty of places to sit and take in the views. We are situated in an area with lots of great amenities for active seniors, with community centers, pools and libraries nearby.
