Chartwell McConnell Retirement Community is a bilingual seniors building with everything from retirement apartments to assisted living. Tour the building, in a quiet residential area of town, and you’ll find excellence in senior living and care throughout, built with forward thinking seniors in mind. The full continuum of care accommodates couples with varying needs or anticipates future care needs, should those happen. You won’t need to move—but also, you won’t want to.
One of the reasons Chartwell has built such a trusted name for itself is the superb amenities typical in its residences. We love the bistro and lounge here, with floor-to-ceiling windows and seating comfortably spread around, making it easy to relax and socialize. There’s a games room populated by a suitably jovial crowd, a movie theatre, hair salon, outdoor patio, and even underground parking. The piano lounge is another highlight.
Dining here is excellent, with superb fare served daily, in an elegant setting. Staff go out of their way to make newcomers welcome and ensure they’re enjoying every day. People are happy, including residents and staff. You witness friendly interactions throughout the community. Family members give the staff high ratings for care here. They’re not only personable and responsive, but manifestly compassionate. Care, both personal and medical, is delivered in a professional manner 24/7. Suites are replete with modern decor.
All of the above works together to create a very comfortable community of seniors who not only get along great but grow together. People living here deepen friendships and personal growth in a setting designed specifically for them. It’s modern senior living in the heart of Cornwall.

Chartwell McConnell is a welcoming bilingual residence set on beautifully landscaped grounds in central Cornwall. As a continuum of care retirement community, we offer a wide range of lifestyle and service options under one roof, including independent living in our retirement home, as well as seniors’ apartments in our adjacent building. That means you will have the confidence and flexibility to age in place, as you’ll have access to personalized care services you may need now or in the future that can comfortably accommodate you without the need for a move.
