My Mother moved into Harmony Hill in November, 2017 after living in her residence for over 60 years. Although this was a big adjustment, right from Day 1, the wonderful staff welcomed Mom with open arms and made her quickly feel at home. The facility itself has so much to offer in terms of amenities and atmosphere. There are too many to list, but some of the conveniences right on site include a hairdresser, physio, massage, convenience store, library, denture care, indoor pool and their own shuttle van for offsite excursions. The residents and staff are so friendly and welcoming and there is certainly no shortage of social activities to get involved in. The meal plan is excellent as the food is prepared fresh every day which my Mom thoroughly enjoys. My Mom has also experienced some health issues as of late and I can't say enough about the amazing care provided by entire Wellness Centre team. They even offer a medication administration service which we are now taking full advantage of, as it's comforting to know that your loved ones are taking their meds as prescribed. When Covid-19 hit, the team at Harmony Hill immediately jumped into action and implemented various strict policies to ensure the safety of the residents and staff. Thank you to the entire Harmony Hill team!

Harmony Hill is a wonderful, clean and well organized place. The staff has been very friendly, helpful and caring. Our parents moved there over a year ago and are very happy there. During this pandemic, they initiated a partial lockdown, and have continued to keep the residents safe and Covid free. They have provided activities to keep them occupied, and arranged in various ways to make sure they kept in touch with their loved ones. We really can’t say enough about this place, and would definitely recommend this to anyone seeking to join a retirement residence.

Two Years ago this August my father moved into Harmony Hill Retirement home in Oshawa. Due to the Covid-19 epidemic my sister and I have not been able to visit our father due to the safety regulations in place which has created a real sense of safety and security for my dad. This has been an immense reassurance to hear my father continually say that he appreciates and loves his new home environment. My father recognizes the staff as kind, caring and friendly. He notices the environment to be extremely clean and comments that, “the cleaning staff is always cleaning; the space feels fresh and clean, never dirty”. The views from the abundance of windows invite calm as he mentions that he loves the beautiful and vast views from his apt window and the window in the hallway when he is waiting for the elevator, not to mention the many other vistas the environment provides. My father loves food and can't say enough about food, consistently rating the food as excellent. What can I say, my dad loves his new home and what more could two daughters want for their 91 year old father, especially during the challenge of these days.

I want to tell you just how good life can be as a senior. I moved into Harmony Hill Retirement community about a year and a half ago. It was the best move I have ever made. Here “on the hill” we have lovely apartments. You can choose what size you want. Meals if you wish, nurses on staff 24/7, chiropractors, hair salon, exercises, swimming pool indoors, a bistro, a bar and lounge where live entertainment happens etc. We have a fantastic activities director who helps to make living here so much fun. Always something to do everyday and many nights. My daughter called me one day and said “mom could you pencil me in for next Saturday” because I am always busy. You can be as busy or quiet as you like. I have made many wonderful friends here and I am never lonely. Also, because of the quick work our manager/director, Kristan...has put in place...we have had NO CORONA VIRUS here! So thanks to a great staff, we are all enjoying the good life.

I live in harmony hill and I really enjoy it. Everyone is very helpful I really like the girls that work here.Tomorrow we have a fashion show and I can't wait to see it - Lisha

My Dad, Alan Cobel, lived on the retirement side from March 2016-July 17, 2019. He loved it here! The staff are exceptional! They work hard and we greatly appreciated it! There was always something going on for entertainment and friends to be made.

My mother was in three retirement homes over the past year and [she now has a home] in the Long Term Care Facility on the Perry Wing. Everyday is special here. [Everyone here is] empathetic, professional, knowledgeable and friendly ... They all work together so well. I am thoroughly impressed and would recommend the Village Of Taunton Mills to everyone.

This is a great place to live. I visit a few times a month and am impressed every time. The residents are happy, you can tell.
