I was able to bring my best friend (Yorkshire Terrier) with me. It’s very cosy and warm and very clean here. That is a priority that was very important to me. The amenities at Cavendish are very good. The help is tremendous. They’re helpful, they’re very, very kind and considerate. Retirement is not easy for anyone … when you’re alone it’s difficult. Everyone has been really good and helpful in the transition.

I would recommend Cavendish Manor for anyone that has to come into retirement. They take very good care of you, and there’s lots of things to do.

We really like it here. The staff is wonderful. Everyone is so kind to us. It’s just like home here. Everything is taken care of for us.

I can't say enough about this home. My uncle needed a transitional home as he wasn't ready for a long-term facility. I visited at least 8-10 places in the Niagara Region, as soon as I got to Cavendish I knew this was the place. Very spacious, well [lit] and most of all didn't have an odor that I noticed at other facilities. Being an old school the hallways were wide so getting around with a walker would never be an issue. The rooms are a good size and they did accommodate some renovations to the bathroom to suit his needs. There are 3 floors and we choose the 3rd floor for the view as it has 3 great big windows (yes there is an elevator). The staff are amazing, Mike was the gentleman that helped me throughout the process and is still my go to with any issues or request that we have. All of the residents smile and seem very happy to be there and my uncle has made many new friends that he loves to spend time with. Even thorough a pandemic, they have maintained a safe environment from the very beginning, it was comforting to know that the residents and their safety came first. To date there has not been an outbreak so kudos to them for a job well done. If you are looking for a home that is clean, well maintained and have great staff, this is it!

Cavendish Manor was there for our family during a very difficult time. They made the transition for our grandmother as smooth as possible. The staff goes above and beyond to keep us informed and ensure our grandmother feels comfortable and at home. Mike and the staff have done an exceptional job at Cavendish Manor and have proven to us that our grandmother is in excellent hands by ensuring she is able to interact with us (even though we are in the US). We are forever grateful for Cavendish Manor. Thank you for all you do!
