We cannot say enough positive comments that reflect the enthusiasm and care that each employee showed us... Mom is now in her 2nd month living at VIVA and she just loves it. We couldn’t be happier for her.

Diana took my husband and myself for a tour of this Community. I was looking at it specifically for Assisted Living for my mother - although they do have a variety of care levels available. The building is beautiful inside and out. The resident rooms are bright and spacious as are any of the other areas throughout the residence. It had a resort type feel to it - bright and cheery. Ample parking is available, which isn't always the case. The fact that they have a nurse, on duty 24 hours a day is a great add. There is not one thing I did not like about this Retirement Community.

My father is enjoying this residence immensely. The on-site care is very convenient. The staff are friendly and the food is good. They really care about the residents and their families. It's a great improvement on my dad's quality of life!

We moved my mother in November [2021]. The experience has exceeded our expectations. Everyone is greeted with a smile. The friendly and genuine attention displayed to my mother, and all “community members” is very special. The food is amazing (I have eaten there twice) with a wide variety of choices and daily features. This was definitely the right decision and fit for her. My mother has blossomed since her time at VIVA.

My mother recently stayed in respite care at VIVA Whitby Shores following her knee replacement surgery. She was very pleased with her experience; the staff here are incredible!! From the moment we walked in, they were so warm & welcoming. And throughout her stay, the Wellness Team were quick to respond to her needs, help her move around her room, deliver ice for her cooling machine; whatever she needed was taken care of for her. I knew she was in good hands throughout her full 2 week stay, and to be honest, now that she’s back home she misses the service ... We would highly recommend VIVA Whitby Shores to friends & family.
