Insider reviews & perspectives

Comfort Life Review

This brand new retirement home is just on the edge of Greater Victoria and conveniently close to the Trans-Canada. Cherish promises to provide all the latest in seniors' care, in a fantastic suburban Vancouver Island setting. Situated on the Island flatlands (an ideal location for seniors who need to avoid inclines), this building allows you to choose the exact suite that will suit you.

Just some of the onsite luxuries to be built into the community are: a cheerful little bar, a spa and beauty salon, a putting green for golfers, movie theatre, and shops for woodworking and silversmithing. Other conveniences include a party room, a chapel, and a variety of activity facilities, including a games room, walking paths and more. It's ideal for Victoria and Vancouver Island seniors heading into retirement, or for those from out of the area who have always dreamed of retirement on the Island.

Testimonials and Stories

  • Can I really afford this?

"When you take into consideration all the bills you pay now,
this is incredibly affordable. Sure there are cheaper places out there,
but you pay for what you get."

  • Am I ready to downsize?

"I never dreamt that at 84, I would be on a new adventure like
this. I am young and healthy enough to make this decision for me.
I was able to choose what I items I did and didn't want. I didn't
wait until someone made the decision for me. The key for myself was
to surround myself with the things I love the most. Every item here
has a significance or memory I want to have with me always and I
    get to see it everyday"

  • Am I too young for Senior Living?

"My biggest fear was moving to a place like this and feeling
alone - I thought I was too young to be here. The truth is, moving
here has given me more independence than I had before. I get to do
the things I want to do worry free! The best part is knowing my
family doesn't have to worry for me - I am safe here and I'm young
    enough to enjoy it."
