How we see Hawthorne Place
Hawthorne Place is a wonderfully warm retirement community in the heart of Qualicum Beach, close to downtown. Housekeeping and laundry are done for you in a place that’s secure and loving. Chef-prepared meals are one of the accents to life here that make it extra comfortable and enjoyable on a daily basis.
The intimacy of the community means that you have a lot of say in things. Tell the chef your dining preferences and they’ll strive to meet those. Let staff know what activities you’d like to see on the schedule, and they’ll plan them. Onsite amenities like the library and lounge add to the comfort level here. There’s even hairdressing on site.
There are more features to everyday life here. Meals are served on colourful china in a dining room with vaulted ceilings and generous natural lighting from floor to ceiling window. The real heart of the community is the staff who are cheerful and gracious. All of this works together to create a cozy community.
