How we see Arbourside Court

This retirement residence is ideal for seniors who want to live close to family in Surrey and who want to enjoy delightful senior living. Many families who move their parents and grandparents here express delight at the quality of the facilities ("like being on a cruise ship") and the caring staff ("all warm and so caring!")

This is a Greater Vancouver gem, conveniently located just off King George Boulevard in Surrey. The food offered here is very high quality, combining equal parts of gourmet excellence and nutritional value. There are social gatherings for every meal of the day, and you may end up making new friends every time you eat. Nearby, you'll find lots of shopping and restaurants including drugstores and a number of coffee shops. But it's what's inside that counts.

Onsite pampering here includes a spa and beauty salon, and regular foot care. Entertainment includes a main floor movie theatre, card games and shuffleboard. There are also shopping trips and other outings. Care ranges from weekly housekeeping, to diabetic and low sodium diet meals, to bathing assistance (for an extra fee).

  Arbourside cares! My nana has been living there since her late 90's and going strong! The staff and seniors are all warm and caring! The location and services are fantastic! Truly like being on a cruise ship! Great way to retire!

  I would like to write a heartfelt thank you to everyone at Arbourside Court. It was a difficult transition for my mother and father to leave their home of thirty-four years and move back to Canada from the Seattle area. Mum had always wanted to come ‘home’ and yet it wasn’t easy to move a large home full of memories. The staff at Arbourside welcomed my parents (and me) with kindness and compassion. They really care and it shows. It has been almost two years now and we are all feeling that the best choice was made for their new home to be Arbourside Court. The location is great. There are many shops and conveniences within walking distance. They also have all the amenities that Arbourside provides at their disposal. I am very pleased that the food that is offered three times per day is of high quality and offers variety as well as great nutritional value.   Arbourside Court was home to my Mom for almost 10 years, and during those years Mom was very happy and loved her apartment and living there.  I will always treasure the fond memories of my visits with her and many of the other residents, and the joy living at Arbourside brought her.   I will be forever grateful for the kindness and care Mom received from the wonderful Staff (cooks/kitchen/housekeeping/admin) who made her daily life a little brighter with their smiles and attention to detail. My name is Tania Miller and I am the General Manager of Arbourside Court Retirement Suites.

I am absolutely thrilled to be leading this team of skilled and compassionate staff. Many of our team members have been employed here since Arbourside Court opened its friendly doors in 2002. I am equally thrilled to be surrounded by the wonderful residents that call Arbourside Court home.

The residents offer so much wisdom and value to my journey as a manager. I cannot express the intrinsic value each of them brings to the Arbourside Family.

I have over 25 years’ experience in Business Management and Change Management. I became familiar with Arbourside quite by accident while owning and operating a mobile senior’s service.

I knew when I walked into Arbourside that I did not want to leave.

We are conveniently located within walking distance from The Newton Seniors Centre, Public Library, shopping and The Newton transit exchange.

At Arbourside Court we have taken the following precautions in order to keep our residents and staff safe:
