69-year old granny DJ rocks!

Wondering what to do during your retirement? Take a look at 69 year-old British DJ sensation Mamy Rock.

Her real name is Ruth Flowers and she's a widow and retired singing teacher from Bristol. Her new career started after she went to her grandson's birthday party at a London club. She loved the music and thought she'd see what it was like to sit behind the decks. The rest as they say, is history.

Mamy has played clubs around Europe and launched her first single - Still Rocking - this summer. She followed that up with her first U.S. concert in early November. She played to an adoring crowd of more than 3,000 at the Anaheim Electro Festival.

Her sets mix rock staples like Queen and the Rolling Stones with techno and dance music. Flowers has no intention of stopping and has said that she'd rather go out with a bang. "I think you have to accept the challenges that come your way...." she told The Guardian, " If you want to do something, then you really can."
