VIDEO: Cam Wooledge Dedicated to Kindness

Never was it more true than with Cam Wooledge, that no act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted. Cam has dedicated her life to helping others. She began performing in Chicago nightclubs with some of the greats of the age and now uses her amazing talent for whistling to entertain in retirement communities and hospitals around the GTA.

Cam is the embodiment of struggle over adversity, having overcome the tragedies of her childhood to bring warmth and kindness to people's lives. "It makes me so happy to think that I'm doing something to help somebody," says Cam.

The Whistling Wonder

In addition to performing, Cam volunteers her time at the Heritage House tack shop as well as the Square One Older Adult Centre. "I walk in the centre and the first thing they say is 'You're smiling Cam, I always come just to see your smile.' That makes me feel good," says the octogenarian.
