Perfect Respite. I recently spent 1 week post-orthopaedic surgery at Aspen Woods and recommend it highly. I am under 60 yrs old. The staff were kind, responsive & accommodating. I felt welcomed. Thank you for gluten free meals and ice machine refills at 4 AM. I did not require much care overall by the staff but that is available as needed. It was helpful having my daily vitals taken by a nurse. The large suite I had was contemporary enough with a hospital bed and it was kept barrier free and super clean.

My friend I love has been a resident at Aspen Woods Calgary for just over six months. I visit her almost every day for a couple of hours. It's easy to access the building from the main streets. The grounds are well kept and there is both surface parking and parkade parking for the visitors. The building layout is very good and reminds me of the high-end casinos in Las Vegas in its quality. The Front Desk Concierge... makes it a very welcome experience. From the Concierge to the front-line workers, [service] is of a high standard. The staff is dedicated to providing care with efficiency and compassion. The housekeeping and upkeep is satisfactory. The residents are provide good care and assistance as needed by each individual. This no doubt is a reflection of the good management. The Facility projects a cheerful environment with very positive vibes... While it is the Staff at large who perform, I give credit to the Management for running such a good establishment and the staff for executing it all.

My mother has thrived since moving to the Fountains of Mission Retirement Residence 8 years ago. She is very active and happy and for that, we are so grateful. Thank you to the staff at Fountains of Mission, all of whom are so friendly and caring towards the residents and their families.

I would like to share the greatness and kindness that the staff of Fountains of Mission has provided for my dad. My father became a widower at 94 and had been living at home still. After the dead of my mother he became lonely and depressed, yet he was not ready to move into a home. Fountains of Mission allowed him to try a short stay at the home which allowed my dad to experience the environment. He approved but was still reluctant to do the permanent move. He realized he could not be at home by himself and decided to move into the home. He has been there for 4 months now and has become a healthier man again. He is no longer depressed and is happy with the help and guidance he gets from the staff . He is happy with the food that is served. He has a social environment that he enjoys and the surrounding area is beautiful. He is happy he made the move he says.

My parents have been residents for 7 years. The staff are efficient, friendly and very accommodating. The building is welcoming, the food and activities are varied and well thought out. Highly recommend Fountains for your loved ones or yourself.

I've been visiting a long time friend at Fountains of Mission for about 10 years and as a designated visitor for her during the pandemic. I'm impressed with the quality of care, respect, kindness and genuine caring that the staff exhibits over the years. Many of the same staff I continue to see ten years later, which speaks volumes in itself. At the request of my friend and her husband, my being with them during the mornings Monday to Friday, while he was on Palliative Care, not only affirmed my observations but served to increase my admiration and trust in Chartwell as a home for Independent Retirement Living as well as those who need some extra assistance. I've enjoyed meals which are tasty and nutritious, whether an invitation to lunch, brunch or Thanksgiving Dinner Celebration. I marvel at the success of Chartwell Corporate but, in particular, Fountains of Mission in their unrelenting diligence, dedication and perseverance in following the protocols of the COVID-19 and variants to NOT have one resident contract the disease!!! That is an amazing feat ... AS a designated visitor, I appreciate the regular updates which the GM sends pertaining to the pandemic and any protocol changes within the residence along with words of wisdom, encouragement and insights. I'm grateful for my experience and express my best wishes for continued success in all your endeavours. My friend only has good things to say, of her feeling "at home" in Fountains along with gratitude and appreciation for the people who live and work here.

I made the choice to move into The Fountains of Mission during the summer of 2012. I chose it because of all the terrific walking opportunities with the river being on three sides of us. 4th street is very close and has everything I would want or need. I have been and still am an active member of our valuable Resident Council and a proud Ambassador to guide our new Residents through everyday life at The Fountains. We have a variety of excellent entertainment and abundant exercise opportunities. I am very well fed with enjoyable delicious food and my beautiful suite is where I call home. I like that I live independently but any assistance I may need is at my fingertips. Lovely location, great food, companionship and beautiful surroundings. Who needs more??
