This is a wonderful community made up of residents and staff, very welcoming to newcomers. Staff is often singled out by family and residents in praise for this community. For one example, during the COVID crisis, they kept focus on what makes senior living great: creating excellent meals, continuing fun activities, offering diligent service and compassionate personal care.

Staff here make this a pleasant experience daily. You can tell they love working here. You’ll see many who evidently also like working with and learning from each other. Staff members credit Chartwell Wescott as a positive place to work (and just to be), where people take joy from work, and where there’s good energy. It’s also known as family-friendly, extending to an atmosphere where everyone feels like part of a family.

It’s close to lots of conveniences like grocery stores, shopping, movie theatres, and restaurants. Dining here is best-in-class. Of the many amenities here (including a spa and pool) our personal favourite is the generous outdoor patio. One other aspect of Chartwell Retirement Residences is the extra spaciousness of suites. It’s a wonderful place to be, housekeeping provided, of course. All of this is led by a seasoned general manager whom staff members find inspiring, inspiration that trickles down into everything here.
