Both family members and the seniors who live here list the most striking quality of this community as "the genuine friendliness of the staff" … their eagerness to please. And when it comes right down to it, that's the most important aspect of any retirement community. A clean, healthy environment with great food and fun activities is always important (Credit River has all those things!) but ultimately there's nothing better than being surrounded by people willing to go out of their way to make every day the best it can be.

Featuring some uniquely wonderful spaces inside and out, this Streetsville retirement community brings Verve Senior Living's passion for excellence to this area of Mississauga. We especially love the bright lighting in the second floor fireside room, and the large outdoor courtyard, landscaped with a rock-faced gardening, backing onto the quiet side-street. Credit River Retirement Residence is situated in a calm residential area of the city, surrounded by some well-established homes with large properties. Streetsville Memorial Park is one of the nearby greenspaces here.

This is a still-very-new building (founded in 2016) whose décor and personnel create a calm, restful atmosphere where there is an abundance of space (always a mark of contemporary design, of course).

Amy has just started her journey with Verve Senior Living having worked in the LTC industry for over 16 years. Amy began her career in life enrichment and Recreation Therapy and gained experience through progressive leadership roles leading to her previous role as an administrator for 5 years.

 

Amy brings with her a commitment to resident engagement and building leaders. When she is not with her Credit River family, you will find Amy enjoying the outdoors while camping and canoeing, playing music and spending quality time with her family.

Chest x-ray is used instead of TB testing. Not provided for anyone over 65.
