This home is ideal for many reasons but is especially appealing to outdoor enthusiasts who love the many trails nearby. Many residents who move here find a new or renewed love for exploring; hiking, canoeing and kayaking become new interests. Cedar Springs offers an almost implausible number of attractions. It's a world class retirement destination.
Cedar Springs PARC is still very new, providing very modern, spacious suites and an impressive array of amenities. You will find a spa, a hairdresser, wellness centre, golf and a movie theatre, along with simpler pleasures like card games with friends, hiking trails and gardening. For all that, the care provided, from the emergency call system, to wheelchair accessibility throughout, to the nursing staff onsite make this an ideally safe home for seniors who are still very independent; staff here clearly demonstrate deep caring in everything they do.
Suites feature spectacular views of the nearby natural areas. Inside, there are delicious meals all prepared for you; you'll also find fitness facilities and very active hobby rooms. Nearby is all the shopping you need, and slightly further afield there are a variety of spectacular natural areas. Maplewood Flats is an ideal day outing with family, as is Roche Point Park. Mount Seymour Park is both a skiing destination and a natural wonder.

"[Since moving in, Mom] is much healthier now and having great meals regularly. The structured exercise and activities provide a much healthier environment than she had, living isolated at home. Also, if she wants a social cocktail, she has a lovely communal fireside area where she can sit down, have a glass of wine, and people join her for a friendly chat. She’s playing more bridge than she did at home, and she is going on afternoon walks with friends she has met there. I always look at Cedar ..."

"As a Vancouver Coastal Health employee - I have just appreciated all the extra care and consideration for COVID as my parents move into Cedar Springs - Thank you it is very reassuring. I also have to give a huge "shout out" to Sean Wilkinson and his team - they have made the home transition of two 90 year old people - so incredibly helpful - I have so welcomed forward their "positivity", immediate and timely responsiveness as we work through all the details in some challenging times!"

"Cedar Springs is truly a welcoming place for anyone contemplating a move to Independent living. The beautiful suites and many services as well as outstanding food makes it one of the best of the facilities of the several facilities we toured in North Vancouver for my parents. We found it to be the best fit for active and independent seniors. We also know that it is people that make a place home and we would not have been able to navigate this journey without the kindness and warm understanding o..."

The pandemic has been a tough time for seniors and their loved ones across Canada. But through it all, Cedar Spring PARC (along with all PARC communities) has stayed ahead of the curve, keeping our residents safe and healthy, and our communities COVID-19-free.
This is partly thanks to our well-trained team, who quickly and proactively implemented provincial government health-and-safety protocols. But independent retirement communities like PARC are also uniquely positioned to keep residents safe during a pandemic, with multiple layers of defense already in place, from onsite wellness nurses to established sanitization and emergency protocols. As well, we offer chef-prepared meals, weekly suite housekeeping, and private transportation – lifelines when busy grocery stores and public spaces pose risks to seniors.
To protect our residents from COVID-19, we've implemented extra sanitization, physical distancing, mandatory face masks for employees, free resources for residents to shop, and socialize online and family meet-up centres with plexiglass barriers and virus-prevention filtration systems.
Cedar Springs PARC is as committed as ever to creating safe, independent, respectful, and healthy communities for our residents.
