FLATO Developments is proud to announce the first tenants have moved into the 80 unit apartment building, Edgewood Suites, in charming Dundalk Ontario.
Edgewood Suites officially welcomed its first tenants into their newly built homes. Property Manager Adriana Bell greeted each tenant as they collected their keys and said, "I love getting to know everyone moving in. We have a great group of tenants and I know every person by name. Our first tenant social was well attended, and we are underway with a Social Committee and events calendar." Tenants also love their units. With a beaming smile, Carol says, "this is my happy place" as she sits on her patio, overlooking the nearby trail and the trees.
Joanne shares a story of family visits and adventures around town: "Today, my granddaughter was here for the day. We walked up the path to Common Grounds Cafe for an ice cream; this is the kind of stuff I've dreamed of doing. Then we went to the park on the other side of Main Street. We had “the best ever day”, as my grand daughter would say."
Site Supervisor for FLATO Developments construction, Mike Masucci, and his assistant, Quin Page, have worked through challenges with this building. "Constructing a building during Covid was a learning opportunity, and we did struggle with some supply chain issues," says Mike "at the end, we have a great building to show for it and I am proud of what we've built". There are a few finishing touches yet to come, including an entryway canopy to be completed later this year.
