There certainly is an improvement with mom's health since moving in. Her health has become more stable. She's getting her medicines on time. Everything is scheduled. She's changed since moving in. She used to be very anxious about things but now she doesn't bring that up any more.

They brought my father back to better health -- better than he had been for the past three years. Equally as important, they took away his loneliness. My heartfelt thanks to the entire staff. You gave my father a home and you gave me peace of mind.

I cannot say enough kind words about care my mom received. They were always checking to make sure she was doing okay, if she needed anything, if they could do anything for her. 

All staff went above the call of duty to make sure Uncle Gerald was comfortable and that he always felt like he was part of the Chateau.

I was there for a short post surgery. The staff, the co workers, the nurses, the residents were so kind to me. All my meals were excellent. Thank you to the cooks and servers. I give it a 5 star rating because they treated me so well. My room was perfect and they always asked me if I needed anything. I really recommend that if you have to go for a short or long stay to try it. For me it was a perfect decision.

Lois was my contact and was very helpful both at my tour and the day iI moved in. I have some old friends and work colleagues here and have met new friends who knew people from my past. The are activities every day and every day at 2 pm some of us gather for a daily chat. Best move I ever made!

Michel Beaudry was exceptional in his care and attention to detail. We are so appreciative of all he has done for Mom! The kitchen staff and meals are exceptional and everyone from nursing and personal care to housekeeping make living there an easy transition. Well done everyone!

Michel Beaudry, Retirement Living Consultant, recently facilitated a cross-country move into the Retirement Apartments at Chartwell McConnell, Cornwall for a member of our family. From the initial tour with Michel, we were impressed with what the building offered for independent living. Working long-distance, Michel showed patience and care in answering all our questions, doing a virtual tour, taking measurements and photos, and signing documents electronically. Michel ensured that the suite was freshened up very nicely prior to occupancy. He was flexible in accommodating the uncertain move-in date which depended on the arrival of the moving truck and was there to ensure everything went smoothly. At every step of the process, Michel Beaudry was always ready to respond, re-assure, and resolve. We... recommend Chartwell McConnell without any reservation.

My parents have now been at Chartwell McConnell for about a month. The experience has been a big adjustment for the both of them after being in their home for 48 years but they are settling in quite well. The staff is very professional, very personable, helpful and kind. The meals are delicious and the staff is very pleasant and eager to please. We recently celebrated my mother's birthday with, grand children and great great grand children and were expertly accommodated in the beautiful Fireside lounge. Nicole, the event coordinator, went over and above to assure the success of the gathering. The medical staff offer a great comfort and assure the safety and well being of both of them.
