I have just moved my mother to Forestview, initially on an assisted living program following a hip replacement and then to independent living. Diana was amazing to deal with, and so is everyone else who works there. Mom is loving it, and everybody is extremely friendly.

My mother moved in while we were away on vacation, and the experience was fabulous! She was well looked after, and the staff treated her very well! Thank you, Diana and Dulce! Would definitely do it again if needed.

I can’t say enough about Forestview! The staff goes above and beyond in terms of care. The staff is warm, friendly, and approachable, and resident safety is a top priority. The suites are comfortable, the food is good, and the activities, outings and special events make this place feel like “home.” This is a great place, and I would highly recommend it.

We stayed at Forrestview for a month while our home was being renovated, and it turned out to be a wonderful experience. Leading up to our stay, we were both quite anxious about the change, but within just a few days, we felt comfortable and at home. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the other residents quickly made us feel part of the community. We especially enjoyed the social atmosphere — there was always something to do, from organized activities to casual chats in the common areas. The outdoor spaces were lovely for walks, and the environment overall felt calm, safe, and inclusive. We appreciated that Forrestview embraces people of all spiritual backgrounds, creating a truly diverse and respectful community. The food was... well-balanced and nourishing, and the maintenance staff were quick to fix any small issues that came up. Everyone we met was kind and attentive, and that made all the difference. We left feeling grateful for the care and thoughtfulness we experienced throughout our stay. Should we ever need to move out of our home permanently, Forrestview would be at the top of our list.

The staff managers at Forestview, especially Diana, Dulce, and Azam, have been nothing short of phenomenal in helping my father to feel at home, happy, and safe in his new retirement home. This is new for us all and my family and I could not be more grateful for the kindness and care all the staff at Forestview have demonstrated in getting my Dad settled. The building and surrounding landscape is clean and beautiful, and I feel I made the right decision for my parent with Forestview.

I've been loving my new senior living apartment! The community here is filled with wonderful people who make me feel right at home. The food is fabulous, and the atmosphere is just beautiful. It's a great place to relax, socialize, and enjoy life. The staff is wonderful here and extremely helpful. I highly recommend this place! If I could give it more stars, I would.

We moved in about 2 months ago and couldn’t be more pleased. If there were two words to describe the Dunfield, I would say quality and flexibility. Quality is there in every aspect of the place. From dining to programming to maintenance, all is of high quality. As to flexibility, there is no pressure to participate. We can choose to involve ourselves in as much or as little as we choose. And finally, the dining - we can eat when we want and where we want with a wide variety of choices. We can eat alone or with others, it’s our choice. Thanks Dunfield

I was most fortunate to be able to recover from hand surgery at The Dunfield Retirement Residence. I was welcomed with kind and caring staff and friendly residents. I will eventually be returning and I strongly recommend it to anyone considering a retirement residence.

I have been in the preliminary stages of researching retirement residences for my parents who have been living in their home for over 55 years. The Dunfield offered us such a warm and welcoming tour and introduced us to the General Manager and head nurse to help us understand the process and timeline. My parents were so surprised at how vibrant the setting is and lunch was DELICIOUS !!! Our special thanks to the Director of Sales and Marketing. She is fulfilling her calling. The right mix of compassion and honesty and humour. Her emotional intelligence is remarkable. We feel so fortunate to tapped into her wealth of knowledge. We toured over 8 or 9 other retirement communities and she stood out from the crowd but mostly with her kind attentiveness to my parents. The Dunfield is their future choice.

My 85 year old Father moved into the Dunfield Residence November 2021. This was a very stressful time for him as he was leaving a toxic relationship and sadly leaving behind his beloved rescue animals. Catherine and the staff at the Dunfield made his transition incredibly smooth and positive. Since he has been at the Dunfield he has literally thrived. He has not been this happy or healthy for years! It took a little time but now he is participating in exercise and activities virtually everyday. He told me recently that this was the best thing he could have done. He loves all of the staff and they treat him with such respect and kindness. Many of the other residence have reached out to him for lunch and dinner dates. I cannot say enough positive things about the Dunfield, it should be on top of your list if you are looking for an excellent living situation for yourself or your loved ones. P.S. he has since rescued a senior cat which is also allowed at his new lovely home!

We have three large plots in our backyard that are used to grow vegetables and a few different types of berries. It is a joint venture with our Resident run Gardening Club and our Culinary team. When the produce is ripe, we clean them off and serve them within our dining room. This is about as local as you can get!
