My mother moved in November and the 3 months have been amazing for her and our whole family. The suites are very well set up, the view and balcony open her world up. The staff is so efficient, friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. Lots of social activities! The food options are wholesome, delicious and a wide variety. Security minded but never overbearing, we know that mom is safe but family and friends can visit daily. I couldn’t think of a better place and experience for us to have chosen.

I was just a visitor here but made to feel very welcome. Thanks to Sue Bolton, Activity Advisor and her enthusiastic staff. A friendly and very relaxing atmosphere. I can see why so many people call it home.

We moved my 87 year old mom into Independent Living at PARC Retirement Living. We were worried and she was scared...... Now, we are a month in and I have difficulty getting a hold of her. Why? Because she has relished PARC Retirement Living Oceana. Kirk Lively and the rest of the team at Oceana have welcomed her and made her feel at home. The activities are great, she attend fitness classes everyday, goes out on field trips to places that I have not seen. Her personal space is beautiful and while she misses her home- she doesn't seem to have much time to do so.

I am so glad to have made the decision to call Oceana Parc my home for the past month. During Covid I was not socializing and ended up quite depressed. If I want company here I can find it easilly enough. I have shared a table in the Dining Room with many Residents. You sit where you want and with whom you want to. You partake in activities if you want to. It's all up to you. If I have a problem all I have to do is talk to my Sales Representative Kirk and he takes the problem and solves it for me ... everything from my food allergies (they always make me something I can eat) to my blinds not closing correctly. I can finally smile again! Life is great!

We have lived here now for 2 months and we know it was the right decision for us. Accommodations and views are wonderful, Food is excellent, many things to get in involved with. Staff make you feel so at home. This is our home now.! Very thankful for Bette and the attention she gave us when we came to view the suites. We love it.

MAGNOLIA GARDENS

Absolutely the best experience one could hope for when providing care for their elderly loved one. We have been at Magnolia Gardens for about 7 years and they have gone above and beyond to meet every request and have done so with compassion and kindness. Pam Murphy who is the manager at Magnolia has been a godsend to me and my elder who has needed comprehensive ongoing care. We have been accommodated on every level including support from their rehab practitioner, caregiver referrals, nursing, mobile lab, in house chef menu, permission to have medical equipment (as long as it met approved safety standards) and spiritual support just to name a few. Recently, my elder had requested to go to a Catholic church but due to Covid restrictions, that is not doable at this time, I asked Pam if she knew of anyone with a spiritual background on staff and that same day, Michael went up to his room and very generously spent a few hours talking with my father which provided him with much peace. It is these gifts of humanity on top of a clean, bright and cheerful environment that make Magnolia and their caring staff exceptional. I can rest easy knowing that my elder is very safe and in good hands. I would highly recommend Magnolia Gardens for you or any of your family members.

[I really appreciated] the way I was treated when I came to view the building to see if I liked it and would be happy here. And I was just overjoyed by the management team that showed me around and explained everything to me very clearly and specifically. It was just excellent and I jumped at it right away. The highlight of Magnolia Gardens would be the staff, from the cleaning staff that come and clean your suite, the dining room girls that serve you your dinners [to] the management. If you have any concerns, you can go to management, sit down, talk with them and they're there to help. If anybody that's moving their mom or dad…I would highly recommend Magnolia Gardens to you because your loved ones will be cared for, and that takes a big load off of a lot of people.

It's a very warm, beautiful place to live. It's really quiet and peaceful here. It's been a major change for me to come here and feel safe.

The transition to Magnolia Gardens has been so good for [my mom]. It's been comfortable. She feels safe. She loves her suite. She raves about the meals. She's met some wonderful friends here.
