That will give you a sense of the tranquility residents feel after they move into this community. You see, you can create a clean, bright, cheerful environment, but to really make people cheerful takes more.
What we heard from people who live here is that it’s a beautiful place to live, and they’re not just talking about the decor. Some people have been here for seven years or longer, which speaks volumes to us. In a walk-through of the community, you can see all levels of staff interacting with residents. "[I really appreciated] the way I was treated when I came to view the building to see if I liked it and would be happy here. And I was just overjoyed by the management team that showed me around and explained everything to me very clearly and specifically. It was just excellent and I jumped at it right away.
The highlight of Magnolia Gardens would be the staff, from the cleaning staff that come and clean your suite, the dining room girls that serve you your dinners [to] the management. If you..."

"It's a very warm, beautiful place to live. It's really quiet and peaceful here. It's been a major change for me to come here and feel safe."

"The transition to Magnolia Gardens has been so good for [my mom]. It's been comfortable. She feels safe. She loves her suite. She raves about the meals. She's met some wonderful friends here. "
Mom was born and raised in Vancouver and spent the majority of her entire life in Vancouver, so coming to Langley was a big change for her. Losing her partner, the uncertainty, being along, it was very worrisome and troubling for her. My wife and I, after doing our due diligence and looking into seniors’ communities, we chose Magnolia Gardens for my mother.
Upon bringing her out here, she was extremely nervous, and I must say, the entire staff, they’ve all been absolutely fabulous at making mom feel so comfortable and welcome. She didn’t know anybody; however, they were quick to introduce her to other members of the community; she has most certainly has picked up some very good and new friends.
So the transition to Magnolia Gardens has been so good for her. It’s been comfortable, she feels safe, she absolutely loves her suite, she raves about the meals. And she talks about Michael, the head chef, who not only makes her smile and gives her a good laugh on occasion but also is very accommodating of her choices and her diet.
After a couple of years of mom being out here, she wouldn’t want to be anywhere else; she’s extremely happy, she’s comfortable, she feels safer than she ever has in her entire life, according to her. And as well she has met some wonderful friends that surely will be lifelong friendships created here. And they have a ball. And she now calls it her forever home as she is so happy and feels so fortunate to be here.
