There’s a charming gazebo that serves as an outdoor meeting place, and you’ll also notice the gardens. Inside is a welcoming lobby, replete with a grand piano. I used to live in Livita Centennial Retirement Home and I left. The only reason that I left was to go and live with a friend out of town in their home, where we could share expenses and watch out for each other. Living in Centennial for a year was a wonderful experience. The meals were good. If you did not want what was being offered, you always had alternate choices. Snacks and coffee were always available 24/7. Important to me. The staff was excellent. I cannot believe how genuinely caring they all were, particularly to those who needed it the most. It must have been how employees were selected as it seemed to come natural to them. (Not really something that can be taught.) I kept myself active in the year that I was there, with the many activities that were offered at the home and my walks throughout the community and shopping ventures. If my situation changed, I think I would gladly return to Centennial. Perhaps I may see you there some day.

I was very impressed with the tour of Livita for the purpose of respite care for my husband. I'm sure he will be well looked after.

I had a tour and found the home to have a warm, inviting atmosphere. There was activity going on and a lot of common space. Residents were busy and seemed happy.

My dad stayed at Livita Retirement Residence for a respite so my mom could get a break from his full time care as he has dementia and high needs. Livita staff were incredibly accommodating and even though his needs were more than they expected, they worked with us to make this a welcoming and safe space for my dad, so my mom did not need to worry. They really went above and beyond to help even though it wasn’t ideal for them. They really thought ‘outside the box’ to make this a success for us. In a world where everyone does the bare minimum and you are just a number, they really put the heart back in the process for us. The system for taking care of our high risk seniors has really been broken for many, many years and covid has made it even worse. Livita staff really jumped through hoops to help us and we will be forever grateful. Do not hesitate to entrust your loved one to this residence.

Right from the initial phone call to inquire about Centennial, they made you feel so welcome and not afraid to ask too many questions. Tausha is the 1st contact and is so dedicated to her job and the residents. She goes above and beyond. All of the staff have been so friendly that I have met so far. I know I will get to experience the entire place once Mom is out of isolation. So far, we are really impressed with the whole experience.

I love it! We have our freedom! We have our nurses, we have our PSW's, we have a Red Seal chef in the kitchen! Everyone has good days and bad days even in their own home, but this is my home.

Interaction with other people has been a great improvement for my mom. Mom's always been a quiet lady but now she's got lots of friends there she looks forward to seeing each day. The staff has treated her very well, and they have truly respected our wishes to come and get her for meetings or activities. Everything's been very positive for us.

It was a difficult decision to move my husband's mother but the folks at White Cliffe bent over backwards to make it easy for us. Now my mother in law enjoys the weekly outings and feels a lot less lonely. It has only been a few weeks and she is still settling in but everyone at White Cliffe is working hard to help her feel settled and we are thrilled she is only 5 minutes away. Christian Ann is so understanding and never made us feel like we were asking too much. The general manager Anne also made herself available at all times even over a long weekend as did Mark which we sincerely appreciated.

Since I live in Australia, it is extremely important for my peace-of-mind that I know my 96-year-old Mom is well-taken-care-of – safe, happy, mentally and physically active and enjoying a good quality-of-life and care. The staff at White Cliffe provide all that and more. The facility is maintained impeccably, the communication is timely and transparent, the activity calendar has something for everyone, and the staff go out of their way to make every resident and every day feel special. Mom loves her apartment and calls White Cliffe home. She has been there now for 10 years. I am so grateful that we found White Cliffe.

My mom was a resident at White Cliffe before her passing this year. The quality of life and care that ALL the staff at White Cliffe provided my mom was absolutely second to none. She would constantly talk to us about how friendly and how much everyone from nursing to administrative etc, went out of their way to look after her. They truly treated my mom as if she was family and provided her with all the support that anyone could ever ask for. There are just way to many people to thank from the Independent floors to the assisted living area. Well done everyone and thank you for everything you did for mum.
