Every week we see a lot of improvement in [ my mom ... By the time we moved her in] we knew that she was in good hands and we knew that she would be taken care of.

We cannot begin to express how much we love the staff at Evergreen Retirement Community. They have always been supportive, caring , kind and helpful. However, never had this been more important than during this time [the pandemic - ed]. As an only child, having my mom taken care of by this facility has been a God-send. They have always been available to answer all our questions, and concerns promptly with care, love and patience. It is so clear how much everyone cares for the residents and how much of a “ family “ they all consider themselves to be. They have maintained the utmost care in establishing clear and concise protocols and have remained free of any outbreak - a true blessing in this scary time. Evergreen we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

[When I visited] my grandparents at Evergreen, at the Mississauga location [the staff here] was patient, cheerful with a positive work attitude [and] made us feel welcome ... Our grandparents speak highly of you and now I know why. Keep up the good work!

The Village of Erin Meadows is part of the Schlegel Villages family, a Canadian owned and operated organization managing long-term care and retirement Villages across Ontario. It was 1953 when Wilfred Schlegel bought the family’s first nursing home and today our Villages benefit from a legacy of many years of direct experience co-owning, managing and operating long-term care and retirement communities. 

The Village of Erin Meadows is located at Winston Churchill Blvd. and Erin Centre Blvd., around the corner from Credit Valley Hospital and Erin Mills Town Centre. 

Our long-term care and retirement buildings are connected on the ground floor via an indoor Main Street which includes all of the shared amenity spaces in our Village available for all residents to use. Main Street features a dining room, fitness centre, movie theatre, chapel, hair salon, library, café, dining room, social club and pub, hobby shop and art studio, pet centre, classroom and outdoor courtyard with pond, putting greet and gazebo.
