How we see Evergreen Retirement Community - Verve Senior Living
Vitality seems to exude from every aspect of this community. All the interiors here are bright and clean. You see and hear interactions between staff and residents that are positive and cheerful, and rooted in patience and kindness. It's obvious that staff love working with the people here, working to create such a positive environment.
When you come in for a tour of Evergreen Retirement Community, you're struck by the lively atmosphere that staff and residents here have created. Verve Senior Living stands by the belief that the best days in life are now (not behind you!) That comes through in many aspects of life at this community, seen the minute you walk in the door.
Inside the entrance, we love the vibrancy of the skylit lobby. But that vibrancy is matched by the people here. You see satisfaction in the faces of many. And why not? When you look around, you find everything you need, everything you can ever imagine needing. There's a salt-water pool, hair salon, a café, computer lounge … the list really goes on (there's even a bowling alley and a general store). This is a great example of a community that provides opportunities for people to live every day in a unique way.

Who are you as a community?
There's no need to compromise quality & comfort. We offer elegantly appointed accommodations with exceptional services including Independent, Full-Service & Assisted Living with 24 hour Registered staff. Our amenities include; Pool, Bistro/Bar, Library, Theatre/Chapel, Wellness/Movement Studio, Spa, Hair Salon/Barber, Bowling, General Store, Underground Parking, 2 Chef fresh prepared meals, Continental Breakfast, Housekeeping & more!

What do you do differently or uniquely well?
Evergreen is unique in its integration with the community. Adjacent to our retirement home, there are two buildings that are predominantly seniors. Because our community is so welcoming, we have individuals that utilize our spaces and great long-lasting friendships.

What supports do you offer residents as they adjust to life there?
Welcoming residents to their new home, is our number one priority. With dedicated New Resident Tea and Lunches, it allows for specific activities for new residents to meet individuals in similar situations, and families too!
How are residents supported if their needs change?
At Evergreen Retirement Community, residents can continue living comfortably as their needs evolve through the availability of independent living, independent supportive living, and assisted living within the same community. Support services and wellness assistance can be coordinated to help with daily routines while residents remain in familiar surroundings. Our focus is on maintaining independence while ensuring help is available when it is needed.
Under what conditions would you advise someone against choosing your community?
Someone seeking a small residence, a setting with minimal amenities and community interaction, or searching for long-term care may find another type of residence more aligned with their preferences Evergreen appeals to seniors who appreciate an active retirement lifestyle with amenities, programs, and opportunities to connect with others. Residents enjoy shared spaces, dining, and social activities that make daily life engaging.
What might residents find surprising about your community?
Evergreen is surprisingly one of the few homes that have transportation to local medical appointments shopping outings. Many communities offer group outings, however, we have a dedicated service for reserved individual and group outings!
How will your community change in the next five years?
In the coming years, we’ll continue building on the lifestyle residents already enjoy. The focus will remain on strengthening wellness programs, dining experiences, and opportunities for social connection while maintaining the friendly, vibrant environment and attentive service that define Evergreen Retirement Community. We’ll continue evolving in ways that support residents’ independence, comfort, and wellbeing.

Evergreen is a multicultural community that has a variety of amenities, including bowling alley, swimming pool and a 50s diner. The professional staff members are dedicated to providing the highest level of care support to all residents.
