The Waterford is a special place that delivers all the best of contemporary retirement living. Meals are excellent, activities fun and varied. To round it all off, the people that work here and live here are the best. What people find after moving into this community is that they have space to live anew and explore the freedom that comes with retirement living. That freedom (from tiresome daily chores like dishes, housework, and home maintenance) opens up liberty to do more with your day, to make new friends and find out how great community living in a group with your peers can be.

GILMORE GARDENS

Great care is found at Gilmore Gardens. The environment here leaves nothing to be desired, certainly, but staff really goes out of their way to cater to residents' needs. When you (or one of your parents) experiences a setback, you want to find the best care that will quickly bring you back to enjoying life to the fullest, surrounded by caring people, great friends and an optimally healthy environment. Staff here combines the qualities of being knowledgeable and personable with a love of fun.

The staff is incredible! All of them! The servers, the recreation (staff), the management, they all all work so well with one another. This became apparent [in 2020] when they all had to deliver all the meals to the residents' suites. The attitude was amazon, they would come singing. This is the kind of staff we have. I call it the wonderful world of the Waterford.

My mother has been a resident at the Waterford in Tsawwassen for over 7 years and we have been very happy with her care. Whenever we visit, we enjoy the food in the dining room. The staff has been friendly and helpful. We will be coming in May, hopefully to eat chocolate!

My mother was recently in the care centre at the Waterford and I have nothing but admiration and gratitude for the staff who cared for her. She felt safe and had real affection for the nurses and aids involved in her care. The centre itself is comfortable and the food exceptional.

A wonderful space for senior residents to live as independently as they wish [with] a care option available in house if/when they decline physically or mentally. [Many] activities to choose from, as well as a private bus that they share with their sister site down the street. [It's an] extremely convenient location [when you want] to run errands and things, without needing a vehicle.

GILMORE GARDENS

My mother has been a resident for over 2 years, she is almost 90. The staff are very kind and considerate. She loves the activities, the exercise classes, the library and the meals. They have been very good with their [COVID-19] response and precautions.

Gilmore Gardens is truly exceptional. My mother has been a resident for over three years. The leadership is outstanding, and this reflects onto all management and staff. I see residents being treated with dignity and respect, in a warm and welcoming family-style community. [What] sets Gilmore Gardens [apart] is the people - friendly, efficient and helpful in all positions and at all levels.

I'm so very grateful for the care my mother received when she was at Gilmore Gardens.

My expectations were exceeded ... It was great to find such excellent assisted living in the city of Richmond ... I highly recommend Gilmore Gardens for anyone looking for a high level of living and senior care for elderly loved ones.

Four stars. Clean suites. All common areas are really neat and tidy.

The Waterford offers all-inclusive senior living in the heart of sunny Tsawwassen. Surrounded by pedestrian pathways through a two-acre water feature, and located just steps aware from the shops at the town centre. Our suites are bright, spacious and unique. Our food is exceptional, and our parties are decadent. Passionate recreation staff offer programs that encourage vibrant and active living. We also feature a licensed long-term Care Centre.

GILMORE GARDENS

Gilmore Gardens was voted Best Seniors Home in Richmond 2021! Residents furnish their own suites. Pets are welcome. Suite options include studios, one bedrooms, one bedroom+ dens and two bedrooms. Each suite has a kitchenette, accessible bathroom and ample storage. Also included is a four course dinner with great choices. Lunch is optional at a reasonable cost, and daily snacks include fresh fruits, yogurt, coffee, tea, juices and a selection of baked goods!
