This retirement residence offers the very best in senior living, with onsite features and pampering that go far beyond people's typical expectations of retirement care. There are also simple pleasures to be had here – including the large outdoor courtyard where friends meet, and new friends are welcome, a menu of delicious daily selections, and friendly staff eager to meet your wishes. There's good reason this retirement home is award winning: it features the very best in senior accommodation. Independent living suites on the main floor feature patio entrances, leading onto the community's beautiful private courtyard as your backyard. Care also includes assisted living, with medication administration and some other extra care available to residents who require it. 24 hour nursing staff is onsite.
The recreational events calendar here is full of variety, appealing to a broad spectrum of seniors. Longworth offers its own private coach, with extremely comfortable seating, taking residents to a various local recreation activities and other outings. "Stayed here for a respite recovery. The food was amazing, and the staff could not have been nicer. Many of them went out of their way to help out or just say hello/chat each day. “What a great day that I made the decision to move into Longworth. My friend of 67 years had been here 2 years and kept singing its praises. As soon as I entered a suite, I said “this is mine.” It is so light and bright. There are lots of activities and trips if you wish to attend. You need never feel bored. I love my home at Longworth. Best decision I ever made to move here.”

Happy to call Longworth home
Every time I walk in the front door, there is a friendly face welcoming me. All of the staff are so friendly to us. The kitchen staff and servers are so knowledgeable, and the food is excellent, with choices. There is a wide variety of entertainment, including bridge, euchre, movies and parties for special occasions. I’m happy to call Longworth my home!

Happiness is found at Longworth
Before I made the move to Longworth, we owned a beautiful house on Commissioners Road with quite a lot of property to look after. Without my husband it became quite a chore to get the right helpers, and after a couple falls my family was concerned about me living alone. It was well-known to me that Longworth was the best home to retire to and I had a friend here that I had visited, and I really liked the atmosphere.
Around that time my daughter visited several retirement homes and decided that this was definitely her final choice, and knew it would be mine as well. The location was very important to both of us as she and my other child live just 15 minutes away, making it very easy for them to visit without it being an inconvenience. She also remarked on the cleanliness of Longworth. I was quite happy living in my own home and keeping my own company, but I soon found out that having a friend around to talk to was much better - especially one I had known for 50 years!
I would definitely recommend Longworth to anyone. The staff are so happy all the time and hence, we all are as well. There is always lots of laughter and the food is tasty (especially the desserts). It is much better for you to enjoy a healthy diet daily because often times you won’t bother to cook one for yourself. My favourite activities are trivia games in the afternoon, playing euchre and enjoying live concerts here. I don’t like to get up too early, and that’s okay, I can plan my own day around what works for me.
I have a beautiful suite that opens out onto the garden and plenty of room to keep some special pieces of my furniture from my prior home. But you also come to realize when downsizing that you don’t really need all that stuff.
When my family visits we enjoy meals in the family dining room and just talk, talk, talk! I am very happy here at Longworth.

As General Manager, I am proud to welcome you to our 126-suite retirement residence, conveniently located in West London, close proximity to Byron and Lambeth. Longworth is a well-established home, since 2002, and have been voted “Best Retirement Home in London” for eight consecutive years.
We offer superior, home cooked meals and a full enjoyment of recreational programming, including outings with our chartered bus service. Longworth has a variety of suite layouts, including several suites with a private patio facing into my favourite part of the home, a beautifully enclosed courtyard. We invite you to visit Longworth and see for yourself, the courteous team that makes Longworth a warm, friendly extended family.
