Though the types of support we offer are different, the level of respect and dignity we display is unwavering. We offer Independent Living (with the option to provide personalized support in the suite), Assisted Living, Memory Care and Respite stays. On your first day, you will be greeted with a welcome gift from The Shores which will include a resident handbook with helpful information to orient you to the Community. If you are inclined to be social, we make every effort to get to know you and provide you an ambassador to assist you as you embark on a new daily routine.
How are residents supported if their needs change?
At The Shores, we offer a true continuum of care, so you can continue living here comfortably as your needs change. We offer everything from independent living and luxury apartments to assisted living and memory care, all under one roof. As care needs change, we adjust support thoughtfully, whether that’s discreet personal care, overnight check-ins, or more comprehensive assistance. It’s ideal for couples with divergent care needs, and all of our residents can feel secure while continuing to enjoy a lifestyle they enjoy.
Under what conditions would you advise someone against choosing your community?
The Shores may not be the right fit if you like simple and basic. Our community is designed for those who appreciate a full-service lifestyle—elevated dining, engaging programs, and a wide range of amenities. We’re best suited for residents who want both independence and access to support, all within a vibrant, service-rich environment.
What might residents find surprising about your community?
We offer a continuum of care starting with our lifestyle apartments, to Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care. We offer access to nurses & PSWs 24 hours a day for peace of mind in case of emergency. And contrary to popular believe, Retirement Living does give you the independence you enjoy - we just do all the heavy lifting for you.
