Gratitude for Evanston Summit

My family and I would like to express our deepest gratitude for the staff at Evanston Summit. Our Mother has been a resident at ES for nearly 4 years, and during that time we have had only great things to say!  We have loved the spaciousness of her one bedroom suite with the great view of the courtyard and fountain, and the dining experience has been wonderful.  We have enjoyed being able to go for dinner with Mom in the dining room, and she has enjoyed the activities in the building, all of which are well planned and always well organized. The staff have been outstanding – everyone (housekeeping, front end, Administration) has always made our Mom felt so cherished and has been very welcoming to us as a family.  Throughout the Covid pandemic, we have been remarkably impressed with the communications to the residents and the families, and we have been amazed at the way that the staff has been able to keep the residents safe and healthy.  Even as our Mother declined and waited to be moved to supportive living, we saw the staff being even more kind and more exceptional in their treatment of her, and they created strategies to help keep her safe and happy as she waited. We absolutely feel that Evanston Summit was the best decision we have made as a family and have absolutely no reservations about recommending ES. It is a fantastic place to live and flourish, and offers families such peace of mind to know that their loved one is in a beautiful building equipped with modern amenities, where they can enjoy their retirement years with great food and great people!
