My husband and I moved into Glendale Crossing retirement residence on February 15, 2024. Our son Jerry checked it out after I had suffered a stroke in Dec 2023 and was in Rehabilitation at Parkwood. He described Glendale as walking into a resort hotel and after a tour and meeting with the staff, he was convinced this was the best place for us. We couldn’t be happier or more content here at Glendale. It provides so much for the residents. Music, games all kinds of activities and outings. We have exercise, hairdresser, massage therapist, and our doctor to mention just a few of our amenities. Thank you Glendale and thank you also for the very friendly staff and also the wonderful residents we have made friends with.

We received the warmest welcome from Monika. The residence is beautiful, open & bright. My dad was thrilled as this was not what he was not expecting. He has been living in a 1 bedroom apartment for 5 months. He opted for lunch & dinner to be included. He feeds the fish in the back pond every morning and walks to nearby stores & around the neighbourhood. He can often be seen working at a puzzle in the games room where he has met some wonderful people. We couldn’t be happier for him.

The thought and care that went into every detail Is evident the moment that you step in the lobby. It’s clear that the well-being and happiness is of their residents was at the forefront of their vision. And while the facility is absolutely beautiful, it’s the kind, compassionate, and dedicated staff that make Glendale Crossing, an exceptional place to live. I’m deeply grateful for the care and attention they provide every day. Thank you for making this a place that I can truly call my home.

Glendale Crossing is an amazing seniors residence. When you first walk in the door, it feels like a beautiful resort, so bright with sunshine and a welcoming lobby area. All of the staff is very friendly, caring, and attentive to the personal and medical needs of the residents, a real family atmosphere. The rooms are well-appointed and very spacious. The management team is well-organized and answers any questions you may have in a timely manner. Support staff is always cleaning and tidying on a continual basis. The dining room staff presents food in a friendly manner and is attentive to dietary requirements. The streetscape town atmosphere on the ground floor, makes residents and visitors feel at home as soon as you walk in the door. All you have to do is enjoy life!

Compassionate, trustworthy & knowledgable staff that work really hard to make the home nice & keep it safe! The staff are empathetic & know their residents well. The food is really amazing too! It is clean, friendly & a beautiful atmosphere! You can see that it is a nice community & a lot of residents are enjoying their time & have formed friendships! Thanks to all the staff for the exceptional level of care!

The facility is beautiful, but the staff are incredible. They lovingly cared for our precious father up until he went to palliative care. I don't think they believe in the word 'no' - always positive and supportive.

Longworth is a lovely retirement home with very caring staff.

My mother moved in approximately three months ago. I have nothing but great things to say about Longworth and I am so thankful to have found this place after my mother was no longer able to live on her own. Excellent caring staff, great food, super clean, responsive, nice rooms and premises, lots of activities. I have had some challenges with my mom and have received nothing but support.

Great place. My mother loves it here. Very nice staff and the building feels like home.

The Village of Glendale Crossing, just off Singleton Avenue in London, is a prominent focal point in a blossoming neighbourhood making this Village a true community hub. In Fall of 2023 we opened our Retirement Phase with a total of 227 suites that consist of Independent Living, Retirement Apartments, Full Service Retirement Suites, Assisted Care Suites and Memory Care Suites. The Retirement Phase joined our Long Term Care Village of 192 suites that has been in operation since 2010.
