Amica is the best senior living facility by far. Both of my grandparents live at Amica. This facility is not just for seniors, it's for their entire extended family. They missed so many special events because they were unable to leave their homes; now, we go to them at Amica and are able to celebrate every milestone and event anyone has.

One can imagine that nothing would compare to a home for seniors other than the one they have spent the majority of their lives in. Adjustment is undoubtedly difficult when entering not only a new environment but a complete change in lifestyle. Amica Stoney Creek is the closest thing to a home and we are extremely grateful and blessed that my parents found an available suite when needed. This residence does not compare to any other in so many ways. It supersedes in care, amenities, atmosphere, and dining.
Amica is a smaller facility which is important to my family. My parents are treated with utmost respect and dignity and are always more than adequately cared for. Amica’s standards of excellence are witnessed in every aspect of my parents’ daily lives. Their suite is spacious and comfortable. Their 24-hour maintenance staff have been impeccable in ensuring their move-in was done as efficiently and accommodating as possible. They are also kindly available to attend to any issues or requests around the clock.
The care is resident-focused, meaning that my parents are compassionately attended to and all caregivers go above and beyond to ensure they are happy, healthy, and safe. The occasional suite welfare visits are so immensely appreciated. I am amazed on how they seem to keep an eye on their food intake, extra-curricular activities, routines, and etc. There is impeccable resident-focused interest and care rather than a consensus decision-based process.
The dining room is open 12 hrs a day and it is a breath of fresh air that there are no set mealtimes. This concept is invaluable to give residents like my parents a sense of independence most especially since my father attends dialysis 3 days a week. Their freedom to go to the dining room and eat at their own free will only demonstrates a philosophy of respect, senior independence, and compassion. The food is extraordinary and the atmosphere and organization of eating is built around a restaurant-style concept. The chef does a tremendous job in ensuring that his meal planning incorporates all necessary nutrient intake for seniors and that fruits and vegetables are available in abundance. They also do their best to facilitate personal food requests.
Amica Stoney Creek would not be what is it without the stellar staff across all departments. Everyone greets with a smile and knows you by name. Care staff, administration staff, maintenance staff, and dining staff all demonstrate an overwhelming sense of friendliness and care that radiates through the residents.
On behalf of my siblings and parents, I cannot thank Amica enough for their services and for allowing my parents to call it their home. We are all reassured of their care and have no worries any longer about their mental, social, or physical welfare.

Amica Stoney Creek was recommended to us, and it turned out to be the perfect home for our loved ones. The building is beautiful and the food is very good, but even more importantly the staff are always helpful and friendly. What an incredible atmosphere! Last week we had an appointment with Carley (you must ask for her!) to meet and tour the home for our mom and dad. I have to say that this place was a breathe of fresh air! The way I saw how happy the residents and staff were was so ,so telling to the pride the team has here. We saw a beautiful suite, and got introduced to many staff and residents along the way... We will be moving mom and dad in very soon, and I recommend you come for a visit! Carley, the lady we met with was so compassionate, and understanding. She really took her time to get to know our family, my parents , and my wild, but loving siblings. This girl knows her stuff, and you won’t be disappointed when you visit with her and the home. Well done Amica! It’s a beautiful spot!
