My parents lived at Evanston Summit for three years and it was a wonderful experience for them....The staff are friendly and helpful and the residents are kind and welcoming. There is always something fun going on at Evanston summit whether it be a birthday celebration, an outing or a happy hour. The shared spaces are always clean and organized.

My Mom has been living at Evanston Summit for a year now, and has really come to appreciate the feeling of community and caring. She enjoys the variety of activities and bus trips, and knows that when she feels like being social, she will always find someone to chat with or play cards in the common areas. She also enjoys the food, and appreciates the work of the housekeeping staff in keeping everything looking so nice, both in her own suite and the building and outdoor areas. She enjoyed getting involved with some light maintenance of the flowers during the growing season, as she had always had her own garden. I would recommend to anyone looking at options for your loved one, to check out Evanston Summit.

I moved [here] about six weeks ago and just want to express my appreciation for the kindness and helpfulness of everyone. I have been so impressed with how all of the staff and even residents who greet everyone by name and with a smile. The friendly atmosphere is contagious and [I'm grateful for the] warm welcome and the things [they] have helped me with to get settled into this new family of friends.

In mid April our mother/mother in law, Mary, lost her husband of 72 years. Since she was no longer able to live in the home they had shared for so many years our family went about the task of finding a seniors complex that would fit her needs. As a family we researched and visited a wide spectrum of the facilities with a variety of environments and programs that would meet her needs. Every person has different needs starting with the present: we were cognizant of the fact that her needs may evolve.
Evanston is an independent seniors residence. We were very impressed. We continued to research and visit a variety of facilities.We narrowed it down and then took mom to visit. In our minds, Evanston was the place we decided on. It stood out clearly as a welcoming and vibrant community. We could see that they would be very open to help mom adjust. Residents and staff went out of their way to welcome and help her...
We know that mom made the right decision to move to Evanston. We, as a family, want to thank all the staff. They [have] watched out for mom and were so willing to help her.

My parents lived here for a couple of years, and then my mother for 3 years after my dad passed away.
Wonderful caring staff, a clean unit that was more spacious than I would have expected, with laundry in the unit. The only reason my mom isn't still living there is because her health requires more assistance

Evanston Summit - What can I say? It's the epitome of wonderful! The staff are awesome and the suites are great with washer & dryer in each suite. We have a great chef and the food is very good. We are within walking distance of a small mall which has everything we need! I am so glad I moved here.

Let me tell you what I like about where I live. It’s a one bedroom suite with a large bathroom, shower and my own washing machine! Lots of windows and plenty of lights in the ceiling. Neighbors right next door, meals served in a large dining room. I live here like a queen and I wouldn’t be so happy anywhere else!

Evanston Summit is my home and I really like it here. The staff are wonderful and the meals are good. I am able to be independent here, that's what I've always tried to do. You will like it here.
