Food is wonderful and the staff really care for my grandma. I see the compassion and patience they give all the residents here and it gives me great peace of mind. The staff remembers small things like making sure my grandma has a bib when she’s eating or giving her warm water instead of cold. Thank you all so much! You are so appreciated.

Living in a retirement home gives you more freedom, more things to do, more people to be with. Since I came to Park Place, I meet people every day, my apartment is huge, there is a pond to walk around, the experimental farm is beside me, I have a patio and face the street so I am living in a housing community, stores are near me, I could not ask for more! [And the staff here] are so kind, they can’t meet your needs enough. If you were in there you would say WOW, the staff does everything they can for you.

My mother resides in this home and I can’t say enough good things. The food is great, the care is amazing but the most important thing is how they’re handling COVID.
After they noticed the effect of March lockdown on seniors, they realize [that] family are what will get seniors through the pandemic.
Myself and my brothers have visited and cared for our mother every day since late April. Other seniors’ families are also allowed to care for their seniors.
We are provided with PPE, Hand sanitizers, everything. They know family have every right to enter their loved one's home. Park Place follows the directives and Resident Bill of Rights.

We would like to thank Alavida Lifestyles, Park Place, for the professional care and services we received when our 95-year old father was in Respite Convalescent Care after an oral surgery. All staff we dealt with – the nurses, the personal care attendants, the cook, the administrative and senior staff, were exceptional, attentive to special needs, accommodating and congenial. Listening to long-term residents' comments confirmed our experience, as they expressed how the services, social activities, choice of food and great atmosphere in Park Place influence their life in a positive manner. The adjacent park also contributes to a serene environment.

[Since moving here] the years have been great. It's a great way to live ... you have all your meals and entertainment. In the winter on a miserable day, we have a pool party! As people get older they should be with other people. And there are so many nice new people coming in that you can relate to because they're your age.
