Seniors find comfort in the surroundings and joy in the company of both staff and fellow seniors when they move into The Wexford. The warmth of the community makes this a beautiful place to live, notwithstanding the fact that it is indeed a beautifully landscaped, well-appointed retirement community. The always-sunny Tsawwassen weather combined with the quiet, peaceful exterior and interior of The Wexford make community living ideal here.

Driving up to The Wexford, you’ll be impressed by its combination brick and oak exterior. Walk in and you feel like you’re setting foot into a self-enclosed resort community where everyone is your age. There’s a friendly greeting at the door, and the main floor is posh throughout. The dining room and fitness rooms are two bright, main floor meeting places.

Those features make this a beautiful building but the striking thing about The Wexford is the allegiance and praise of seniors and their family. That comes from the thoroughness of service, the attention to detail here, and a thousand little extra touches. Even the housekeeping at The Wexford gets singled out by family members as “fantastic.” People here are treated like family.

Suites are just another special aspect of The Wexford, each very spacious, with a private patio and wide windows and a spacious open-concept kitchen. Residents take comfort in multi-tiered security that includes a 24 hour concierge, emergency call system, on top of the safety of the building and the location.

My mother lived at The Wexford for a year before moving to full care late October 2019. Her time at The Wexford was an outstanding experience. The staff were caring, knowledgeable and always attentive. She enjoyed a bright, spacious 2 bed apartment that felt like a real home, something very important to mom after living 40 plus years in her previous home. While mom was initially concerned that it would be difficult to adjust, the Wexford management team made her feel exceptionally welcomed and provided a variety of services, an excellent menu as well as socialization opportunities with the friendly residents. Well done Matt and the rest of your team - mom and our entire family will miss you!

We can’t say enough about all the good people here … The social director is a phenomenal woman who gets them engaged in things they wouldn't normally partake in. She can get [my dad] to go dancing, he’s gone bowling … [He takes part in] the fitness group that’s here ...   For me, the advantage of having my dad in place like the Wexford is that I know that he’s in a safe community, he’s well fed, meals are like a cruise ship … Even though I’m not there [all the time] I always k

I’m very happy with being here … You can be busy all day, or you can go to your room and close it and be private … It’s freedom and yet you feel secure. ... They know what they’re doing.
