Parkland on Eglinton offers luxurious elegance for seniors who want to leave behind all the pesky annoyances of home ownership and step into a lifestyle that renews and deepens their love of life. Find contentment and happiness in a setting that’s made just for people like you who want to remain as independent as possible and still feel vital and vibrant. Inside the building alone there’s enough to make every day a rich experience, and on top of that, you’re in the heart of a great city.
Drive past this, on Eglinton Ave. West, and you’ll be struck by the spectacular building. What’s inside, though, is even more dazzling. You’ll feel like you’ve stepped into a luxury resort right in the GTA. There are luxurious amenities throughout the building. The main dining room is spectacular, with lofty ceilings, glass chandeliers, and armchairs at each seating. There’s a movie theatre and a beautiful seniors-friendly heated pool. The pub and billiards room is bustling with cheerful residents. Then there are indoor golf, fitness classes, personalized wellness programs, and more. All of this is designed to create an overflowing life for residents, which is indeed what people find here.
Luxurious, spacious apartments look out on wonderful views of the local cityscape and parks. On a clear day, you can see the Toronto skyline, from south-facing suites. There’s an outdoor courtyard with a gazebo, and the local area is rife with parkland (like the name). St. George’s Golf and Country Club is also nearby, as are shopping, a drug store, and other conveniences. On top of in-building amenities and nearby attractions, there are also organized outings to museums.
For all of that, the thing that really makes days wonderful here is staff at the Parkland. The people here listen to seniors and are approachable, yes, but more than that, they genuinely enjoy the interaction. It’s a place where people don’t just live together, but they learn and grow together. It truly is a place where your life can expand anew. People continue to learn in this setting, making new friends and exploring learning opportunities.

Parkland offers a full continuum of living options, from fully independent apartments with full kitchens to fully supported Enriched Care.
We provide five distinct Lifestyle Choices to meet a variety of needs.
Independent residents can access flexible à-la-carte meal and care services.
Should a resident's needs change, they receive priority access to enhanced support.
What supports do you offer residents as they adjust to life there?
Your new home will be fully prepared for your arrival day. Our Move-In Coordinator will guide you through the logistics, answer any questions you may have, and ensure your requests are completed in a timely manner-such as picture hanging, mounting your TV, or other setup needs. They will also make sure your TV and phone are working, so you can settle in and relax right away. Over the first few days, our management team will personally introduce themselves to get to know you and learn more about your preferences for recreation, dining, and more.
How are residents supported if their needs change?
When does a resident typically need to move units or communities?
A move is recommended if care needs increase beyond what can be safely supported in the current suite. Even then, we encourage independence and choice every step of the way.
How does your community help with the transition?
If a move is recommended, additional help can be added based on a nurse’s assessment and suite availability. Our team supports residents and families through the transition, ensuring comfort and continuity of care.
Can outside support be brought in?
Yes. Residents are welcome to arrange their own outside support, and we also offer in-house Parkland Plus PSW services for added convenience and peace of mind.

At Parkland on Eglinton West, promoting an exceptional quality of life for our residents is central to everything we do! The dedication of our team members to providing the highest quality care and service to our residents is what set’s us apart.
My name is Krasi, and I am the proud General Manager at Parkland on Eglinton West. I take the utmost pride in getting to know our residents and families, and supporting them along their journey to finding a place they can call home.
Finding a retirement community to settle into can be a scary transition, and often, when seniors are looking for a retirement community, it’s because they have experienced a change in their personal health and wellness. Whether the change is related to a physical ability, or cognitive ability, or even just a change in the desire to manage a house and property, there is often a great deal of stress involved in making this type of decision, and navigating the steps to moving in. On top of all that, our new residents have often just sold a home that they have lived in for decades, and may have to downsize and part with treasured personal items they have had for just as long.
In sum, we know the importance of the decision to transition to a retirement community, and the layers of emotion and stress that come with it. This is why our team of compassionate Lifestyle Consultants and Nurses work closely with you to ensure that we understand your specific needs and align you with the right Lifestyle option for you in a place that is and feels like home.
We want you to live your best life at your Parkland! And our incredible teams of Health and Wellness, Culinary, Concierge, Housekeeping, Recreation, and Maintenance personnel, are here to support you to do just that!
