Residents Cheer On UBCO Men’s Basketball Team

Witnessing Victory One Basket at a Time

On February 4^th residents from The Vineyards Residence in Kelowna, BC cheered on the UBCO Men’s Basketball Team as they took on the team from the University of Victoria. Peter (resident, pictured here) especially enjoyed the back-and-forth play throughout the game and how the students “brought the heat” all the way to a victorious win of 86 to 83. This was the last regular season game before playoffs. The University of British Columbia - Okanagan Campus’ mascot Scorch is proudly joined by the adoring fans of seniors and staff at The Vineyards Residence in cheering on the UBCO Heat!
