Wild Rose is a cosy, intimate, traditional community, unique among retirement homes in the city of Edmonton. That intimacy creates a warm, personal environment in which management and staff are exceptionally attentive to the needs of residents, as well as family members. Those who appreciate clear, authentic communication will find that at Wild Rose.
Another noteworthy aspect of this community is the excellent dining. It puts delight in every day when you can sit down to carefully prepared cuisine that’s wholesome and nutritious. When others are taking care of your basic needs, you can take up interests and passions you may not have realized you enjoy, or have simply been putting off. To experience the reinvigoration available at Wild Rose, you really need to move in for yourself.
My mom moved into Wildrose approximately a year ago. It was a stressful time for our family as we transitioned mom to a home that offered a higher level of care. We were shown the room mom is now in, we were given a tour of the building and [we just fell] in love with the place and staff. Mom is so happy here, she loves her room, she always says she's home now.—Michelle, family member
My mom is resident here and I don't have words to describe how good, nice, and caring the staff are. I am so grateful [she] was accepted into this wonderful home. I highly recommend this home if you want to have peace of mind—Maria Bijader, family member
The staff is exceedingly kind and patient and it is evident they care about the residents. Whenever I have a question or concern there is always someone who helps me. It is a smaller building which lends to a tight knit environment.—Ann Barnes, resident
The reason we moved [my mom] here was pretty simple. It is a small home without the usual bells and whistles but we all felt welcome the moment we walked in … The manager listened to my mom instead of talking to me … It felt like the manager cared. [After she moved in] the exceptional treatment continued and they all made my mom welcome and made me feel like I could stop worrying. My mom’s care staff are “caring”. The leisure activities are plenty and fun … We remain very pleased and—Roberta C., family member
